Alienware 17 R5 does not delay. Equipped with an Intel Core I9 processor and an overclocked Nvidia GTX 1080, it finally showed us high-speed gaming at 1440p resolution on a laptop.
Of course, the main part of this machine is the 17-inch QHD display. The TN panel may seem frustrating on paper, but the color depth and black level of the display is almost as good as the monitors with IPS panel.
Then comes the 120Hz refresh rate, which makes this display play even sweeter when you watch your games go past the traditional 60fps to a blissfully high refresh rate. The spectacle becomes even more joyful when you make sure that Alienware 17 R5 is powerful enough to play games at the desired frequency in 1440p resolution and still keep the stock of frames for maneuver.
